Grant Cottrell is now father to a brand new bouncing baby boy. I haven’t seen pictures yet, but I’m sure little Cohen Cottrell already has a healthy 5 o’clock shadow.

For those of you who don’t know, Grant is a founding member of the Dick Dynamo team and a valued co-worker. During the time I’ve known him, he has proven to be a  flexible multi-talented individual who does not deserve a fraction of the hassle I give him.

Welcome to the world Cohen. I wish you nothing but the best and many happy years to come.

Marooned Webcomic

I’ve had the pleasure of exchanging electronic letters with Tom Dell’Aringa of Marooned recently. And not only has Tom been good enough to pass along some valuable pointers, he also posted a review of Astray3 on his site. You can check it out here.

I have no tongue for reviews, so I’m not even going to try matching his article. Suffice it to say, that if you enjoy Sci-Fi comedy you should really give Marooned a try. The story is humorous and the art compliments it perfectly. Also, look forward to hearing Tom this weekend on the TGT podcast.

Ending 2008 in style.

Kurt and Phil over at the TGT Webcomics podcast have given Astray3 the last spotlight of 2008. Go check out the review and visit the other comics they spotlighted in 2008. Also, I will be interviewed on the Feb, 22nd TGT Webcomics podcast, so save the date babies for audio fun.

And as I understand it, Dick Dynamo episode 7 will definitely be released this month. This episode will feature zombies, an unholy wedding, and the return of an old fiend.

A lot of the credit for this album goes to Jon Baker who arranged and created almost all the songs and pictures. And while I, Dick Dynamo, didn’t contribute many vocals, you can look forward to hearing Grant Cottrell as Mayor White and Jon himself in some very catchy tunes. (The Mayor White and Space Giraffe songs are my favorites.) Also, Kevin Kolb throws in a few catchier melodies for the hip kids. Make sure to check out the included pdf for lyrics and additional artwork.
