I just realized… I’ve come back and looked at this page several times now waiting for the update, and I just realized…
her legs are on backwards in the last panel. Either that or her arms. The way she’s standing in the second to last panel makes me think it’s her legs, though.
She stands up, with this thing on her shoulders/behind her. She’s got her arms over her head, pushing it up. We see the back of her head. We see the way her elbows face, so we know that we’re looking at her from behind, there.
Then travel down. Look at her pelvis, and her knees, and feet. Those are all facing us.
My fault, Emily actually turned around while pushing the creature up. Notice that she is twisting to her right with her left arm reaching over her right shoulder in panel 6. I could have probably shown another transition panel between 6 & 7 to clarify the move.
In that case it looks like her hair has fallen in front of her face in the process, which is entirely reasonable, but it enhances the impression of looking at the back of her torso. Personally, I didn’t tumble to the hair thing until timmeh pointed it out.

Yes girl! Fight, fight, fight! Knock this messed up madness out the window!
Attaway to go Emurly. Kicking monster butt. I’m glad to see the ‘crack’ wasn’t her back. Having hurt my own back, I know it goes on for years. Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy…. well, maybe… Aero
My muffins!
Haha, what a memorable quote.
In any case, a really nice comic with horrible looking monsters.

Ha, I guess the scene could use a soundtrack…and a giant face themed robot of some kind.
Your golf club that will putt the heavens! Don’t believe in yourself, believe in the rollerbird that believes in YOU!
Throw it! Throw it through a wall!

it’s not a horse, it’s a stud.
Looks like this creature is a horses ass
I still love those hands. One is a chainsaw, and on the end of the other? Hooks!
Today’s bad pun: I saw your muffins.
Go power girl
