I do all my lettering in Adobe Illustrator. After wrapping up the writing and choosing the proper fonts, I will go back through and slightly adjust the kerning, rotation, and spacing to make the lettering inconsistent. For effects and other big lettering, I will outline the font and alter the individual letters to better fit the panel.
I think that the number of tries left might not be determined by the number of arrows, but by how quickly the stray can get out of range or line of sight. And that roof in the middle of the right half of the panel, does it say NNN?
Well he did have five yesterday before he took that one shot. Never thought to count the arrows on him now, but you’re right there are three in his quiver and one nocked. Definately four shots left there.
Nice city scape there aside from the blemish in the center. Looks like some really good construction here. Almost a shame no sane creature lives there now. Makes the outside look like slums to me

That eye IS strange, but my quick glance through the archives says that it’s just how that species is supposed to look, we just never get to SEE their eyes since they’re so small compared to their heads and brows, which are themselves small compared to their bodies!
And what’s wrong with the archers eye ? I’m puzzled by this and his apparent empathy towards emily, even if he’s just aiming to put her out of her misery

Me thinks the softshell lies.
