Chronologically displaced… Damn! It is time! The guy’s either from the future or the past. So Emily’s plight his either his fault in an effort to right the universe by putting her on this path or he’s monitoring her because he knows she’s somehow significant for the future.
Double agent? Sounds like there may be a 3rd party outide the Avalonians and Randall there.
Robot friend… Must have been the guy/thing who spotted Emily in the Oyoyog’s store.
Heh, I was thinking that modern technology may have been responsible for the Alien/monster’s assumptions about the power of “men” being devine, but sounds like it’s a far more futuristic technology. Although I guess there is still the question on the Super strength and acid blood. Not sure what to make of that yet.
Just when we think we’re gonna get answers from one direction, it comes from a completely different one.
I suspect myself that her blood isn’t acid and that she isn’t super strong – just that the local biology doesn’t handle water (or water-based fluids) very well, and that she’s merely strong in proportion to everything else that lives there.
Though admittedly you’d think she would’ve noticed if gravity were less strong.
Xo my brain hurts….
You are going to learn a lot more about Rand and Xuan in September. Consider these past couple of days a teaser.

He looks like an amazing mix of Dr. Benton Quest and Captain Haddock. That wasn’t clear, back when he was in the car on October 2nd.
It certainly sounds like we’re learning a lot these past couple days. I only wish it made sense.
Oh, hello again, Rand and Xuan. Welcome back. I’ve been waiting for you.
