I'm not sure where this is going but it wouldn't surprise me if its Emily and Featherton on their own. Thunga is evidently fond of her and all, but she does have her own brood to worry about and the limit to which she can leave them alone has probably arrived. Probably time to help Emily out of the city and point her in the right direction with Featherton but not much more. I'd be interested to see what happens to Ramon and his family but I guess the story will follow Emily and we'll only learn of it later. Mabye Amon will try to take revenge or join her for some insane reason.
