I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the comic, so your feedback is very much appreciated. #278 should be out by the end of the week. I'm interested to see how readers will react to the unorthodox layout. Thanks for reading Astray3 and taking the time to write a well thought out comment, SSliport. Reminiscent of 80s styles but with more modern sensibilities. Unfortunately, this translates to the layouts too. You need to take into account the path the reader's eye will follow across the page. If you haven't already, I suggest you read some stuff by Scott McCloud or Will Eisner's "Comics and Sequential Art" For example, in the upper right corner of this page, my eye skipped right over panel 5, and the speech bubbles in panel 9 are rather haphazard. In 277 strips there were many other places where it's easy to lose track of the action, or where things are too hard to follow, and the fact that I still got pulled into the world means that making things easier to read would improve immersion greatly. I thought it was about time to change up how I present the comic logo. Thanks, Equalor. I thought it was about time to change up how I present the comic logo.
