on 2010/11/26 at 5:46 pmStarting today, I will be revamping the archives and prepping the comic to be published in 2011. ( See the following example. Or just go back to the beginning of the comic. )
The revamp will involve some new artwork, expanded story line, coloring, plot points, and completely new comics. ( AKA, a crap ton of work. )
So what does this mean to you, the long time reader/person who just finished reading the archives? First, the story won’t be changing much. If you have read it once, you won’t be surprised by any new developments. Second, all older, unedited comics, will still be available up until the time they are replaced. Thirdly, current story will continue, irregularly, until I finish up the story arc. Then the next story arc will continue once I’ve caught everything up.
I know it will be painful, but once I’m finished the story should be a lot better and more unified.

Yes, I will make a post in the blog section whenever old comics are updated.
Hey, whatever changes you make, I still have the original issue #1 inking framed on my wall. It will always be the real #1.

Alas, in the heady days of 2008, I was ever the victim of the “your” and “you’re” trap. One of the few reasons I’m reviewing and editing the old comics.

Congratulations on getting published, and I do like the later/new art style, I find it considerably more engrossing. Though I do agree with Tempest, it would be nice to see an archive of the classic slides.
It’ll be nice to see how this new version works out, but I do wish you’d leave the old comics available in some archive location.

So I take it the story has evolved from where you originally planned to take it?
*sigh* and there I was for AGES trying to find a link between her early dreams and this realm, only to discover that they had so little meaning they could all be completely replaced.
Well, the opening dream sequence was never meant to be anything other than an escapist dream. A red herring, if you will.
LIke I stated before, the story on the whole is not changing. Just being edited and spiffed up.
There is no point in ALL of us paging through all 288 pages and draging and droping then all into a follder. Charles if you are making an archive would you post a torrent of it somewhere?
Alright, truth is I’ve already copied them to the HD but its on a machine that I haven’t turned on for nearly a year and can’t be arsed to turn on so I can upload it for you. Even then, I’m not sure what that’d do for copyright and the like anyway. Heck, nothing wrong with reading the comic again as you copy the lot down.
@Eldon: Well that bloody red herring evidently did its freaking job *LOL* I’ll definately confess that the new art looks spectacular though. Sure, the old stuff was good, but you’ve improved vastly, as any good artist should with time.
Why must you be such a tease?
Interesting new first page. It does feel more like the latter comics in tone; weird, magical, scary. And to me it feels more like a dream, being disconnected and unstructured.
Doesn’t feel like wish fulfilment though, which I thought was the point of the first version: that she longed for a magical life, and found the real magic much darker and more dangerous.
