So I could be right about the functionality of the items that are part of these mutations. Look at the gumball machine head dude loose his gumballs and the pin on explosive face dude about to be removed (fire cracker hair, pendulous grenade nose, rosy little bomb cheeks, and dynamite stick ears). The rubber ducky in this context seems quite sinister with it’s gleeful appearance. That and having rubber duckies for ears would be dreadful while sleeping. roll-squeak…rollover-squeak.
