However, with the coloring I can now see where an Ourga's body parts end and the goma begins. Some of the group drawings made it hard to see the beings properly. So, thanks for the color, as long as you can do it. I came over from String Theory. I enjoy the way you web comics artists promote each other! I've found many many awesome works that way!! It would also offer an explanation for what happened with the ropes - when she sneezed, she forgot that she "shouldn't" have been able to break the ropes. I think you’re right about willpower. Bones would break and muscles bruise from the jumps and falls she's had, heck she'd be dead from the fall with that bug, or even the one on the roof just a few pages back. I'm starting to think that faith or willpower might play a part, so she's as strong or as fast as she's willing to believe she can be in this universe. Whatever the case, the greatest show of strength we've seen is when she snapped those ropes that held her arms behind her back. Rope like that is strong, since it's also able to absorb a sudden shock of weight by stretching, plus having her hands behind her back should have severely limited how much of her strength she could apply effectively. If she could snap that rope with a sneeze and without breaking her arms or tearing her flesh apart rather than the rope I guess leverage is her main issue (i.e. she can catch the shells and take the impact but the ground she's standing on can't, or she doesn't have enough weight in her own body to counter the weight of the shell and is sent flying by/with it, much like when the bug hit her). Sometimes when I see the later colored versions of the work, my mind will initially reject it cause it doesn't agree with the color schemes. But, I'm going to give a color a try. I actually look forward to playing with the extra dimension it adds to Astray3. If you want to see more of my B&W work, check out my Superfogeys Origin guest comic: http://www.th3rdworld.com/web-comic/The-SuperFogeys I agree Mike, I prefer to buy and read most comics in B&W. But, I do like to keep my stated commitments. Thanks Alain, nice to know readers will grant me some leeway on the comic. But, I do like to keep my stated commitments.
