Expect some chaos!! (4 Comments) http://www.a3classic.com/?p=1093 http://www.a3classic.com/?p=1093#comments Sun, 26 Jul 2009 20:51:28 +0000 eldoniousrex http://www.a3classic.com/?p=1093 As you may have already noticed, the Astray3 site is currently undergoing some renovations. While I don’t predict any major disruptions in the update schedule be forewarned that some may pop up. Plus, I’m nowhere near done tweaking the new design, so if you would like to see some changes feel free to comment here or email me.

In addition to a graphical face lift I will also be adding some information and story resources to help make the comic a little more reader friendly. Look forward to the new features in the coming weeks.

Also, a big thanks to Phil again at Webcomic Planet Collective.  It’s no exaggeration to say, without his help Astray3 would not be what it is today. Make sure to visit Webcomic Planet and drop him a thank you on my behalf.

So, back to work then.

Zorphbert and Fred, Aliens have gone to the dogs. (1 Comment) http://www.a3classic.com/?p=953 http://www.a3classic.com/?p=953#comments Tue, 02 Jun 2009 03:33:27 +0000 Eldon http://www.a3classic.com/?p=953 Intro

If you’re looking for a funny newspaper style webcomic about aliens disguised as dogs, then mosey on over to Zorphbert and Fred. The strip follows the antics of two aliens sent to earth to study us peoples. Zorphbert is the leader and straight “man” of the pair, while Fred is the lovable lunk in touch with his “kitty-cat” side. Together, they live under their nameless human owners, secretly conducting their observations and studies. Occasionally they are joined by the neighborhood weird kid (Teenage Calvin?), a cat-suited alien babysitter, and their squirrely supervisor. Most strips are gag-a-day with slight continuity.

Dawn Griffin’s art style is fittingly cute, and very appropriate. I dare say it has the majority of newspaper strips beat in the art department. Plus, it updates at least 3 times a week, not bad for a nice hand-drawn strip.

And finally a quick plug for another WCPC member, Phineus: Magician for Hire.
