So Emily's plight his either his fault in an effort to right the universe by putting her on this path or he's monitoring her because he knows she's somehow significant for the future. Double agent? Heh, I was thinking that modern technology may have been responsible for the Alien/monster's assumptions about the power of "men" being devine, but sounds like it's a far more futuristic technology. Although I guess there is still the question on the Super strength and acid blood. Not sure what to make of that yet.
