I don’t know if scaring the locals is her best bet now. Where would the Oyoyogs go anyway? If escaping was an option, I’m pretty sure they’re already doing just that, because Ramon sure seemed to know what would happen if Emily was ever found out.

Perhaps she could negotiate, and explain that she is apparently a “stray” and not a human? And she could also explain that humans are individuals, and that she doesn’t agree with what those humans did. Demons and angels, you know. Same thing, different sides.

I was wondering the same thing about why the Oyoyogs didn’t run for it with them. Best I got is that he didn’t think he’d be able to escape unrecognised, or he was hoping he could still talk his way out of it with Emily gone. But from all we’ve been seeing, it looks like the lynch mob is pretty determined and already had a great deal of animosity against him for being a known human lover.

If the strays who were there before her and knew the people better couldn’t negotiate out of it, I’m doubtful she could. The whole populace has probably each lost a friend or family member to the human attack or heard the nightmarish story of the ordeal. It’d be like a member of the Taliban trying to calm down a mob of New Yorkers gathered around him.

Certainly she might try to be peaceful about it, rather than go in swinging her fists, but ultimately they’ll panic and either run or launch an attack to take her out. Hopefully that will create enough of a panic in the city for the Oyoyogs to escape without notice.

Recommended plan of action: Emily heads in on Featherton and scares or leads the lynch mob away while Thunga gathers the Oyoyogs and gets them out.

She definitely had to go back, looking forward to what she will do!

I really hope that Emily wouldn’t compound Ramon’s problems by going back X_X

Btw, I really love the monster and costumes designs. Little details like the mask thingie on Thunga’s chest makes me warm and happy.

    HELL YEAH FOR THE STRAY!

I’m thinking she’ll be too late or told by Thunga that there’s nothing she could do.

But if she did go back, her best bet would be the fear factor of humans. She could probably hold them at bay or keep them occupied, running through the streets while the Oyoyog make a get away.
